Job Description:
Caterpillar's Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP) Demand & Orders Analyst develops and recommends production, attachment, and inventory schedules, and order fulfillment activities for the facility.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for coordinating with cross functional teams such as Operations & Supply Chain for preparing order management & schedules to fulfill product orders from the facility.
Multi task and time management in order to meet business cycle scheduling time lines.
Monitors the production plan and modifies as needed to maintain acceptable product availability and schedule adherence to meet customer delivery date expectations.
Supports data collection such as sales to users, orders, shipments and factory inventory.
Assists in the development of a plan and business case for critical review by Product Managers, materials, and factory managers, explaining why this plan provides the best compromise to conflicting objectives.
Supports the global S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning).
Supports data gathering for preparing an executable build schedule and helps assess risks and opportunities.
6 Sigma methodology is a key attribute to success in this position.
Basic
Qualifications:
College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or 2
years' equivalent experience Highly skilled with Microsoft Office such as Excel Top Candidates will also have:
Knowledge / understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles CPS Functional Job Role Qualified Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures Solid product knowledge Knowledge of prime products and attachments Familiarity with company manufacturing facilities, processes, equipment and processes Additional Information:
