This position is Monday-Friday with a 8 am start time.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for accurate and timely processing of weekly driver payroll and invoicing for accounts as assigned.
Analyze pre-processing reports to ensure accuracy of payroll and invoices.
Coordinate with operations managers, dispatchers, drivers, and Human Resources to collect and verify the accuracy of payroll data including wage adjustments and special payments.
Understand contract terms and regularly consult with operations managers and sales to ensure accuracy of invoices.
Consult with operations managers and drivers on payroll questions.
Coordinate resolution of discrepancies surrounding payroll and billing issues.
Consistently deliver high quality work within established time frames.
Serve as back up to other payroll and billing functions, when necessary.
Identify and suggest any improvements to current ways of working to deliver a more efficient and effective service for our drivers and customers.
Other Potential Duties/Responsibilities Support scheduled and ad hoc events by coordinating travel arrangements, coordinating volunteer assistance, ordering food and refreshments.
Assist with incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain records of all required permits and ensure timely application, renewal, and distribution of permits.
Coordinate with operations and fleet services to maintain records of toll transponder locations; pay, research, and dispute illegitimate toll charges.
Coordinate with fleet services on the on-boarding of new vehicles which includes completion and submission of appropriate paperwork for vehicle titling and the ordering of license plates.
Project and other work may be assigned based on the business needs of the organization.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and previous clerical experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Experience working in a professional office environment and a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and respond positively to unanticipated changes.
Preferred:
Experience with ADP and TMW Experience in payroll processing, accounting, or human resources Job Type:
