Some of the duties of a seal coater include:
- Preparing the asphalt surface by cleaning, sweeping, and repairing any cracks or holes.
- Mixing and applying the seal coating material according to the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines.
- Using tools and equipment such as brushes, squeegees, sprayers, and rollers to spread the seal coating evenly and smoothly.
- Marking off the treated area with cones, signs, or tape to prevent traffic or pedestrians from entering.
- Cleaning and maintaining the tools and equipment after each job.
