Quality Supervisor, 1stPOSITION SUMMARYSupervise the activities of the manufacturing inspection and quality personnel and coordinate quality control functions of manufacturing for reporting purposes to ensure that we meet IPC quality standards and the customer's needs for on-time delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to specified standards (ie:
ISO 9001).
Coordinate and maintain ISO 9001:
2015 compliancy.

Desktop Audits, audit schedule, ISO Audit Recertification) Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the QMS and administer corrections as required.
Monitor and report on corporate quality objectives and quality trends such as OTD, scrap and customer return and initiate correction where required.
Serve as liaison between client and manufacturing to support through quality issues utilizing corrective actions (8Ds) and the process approach (PDCA).
Administrate and manage quality documentation such as PPAPs, FAIRs, PFMEAs, control plans, flow charts and C of Cs.
Monitor and report on RMAs and initiate appropriate actions as needed.
Monitor and work with suppliers and purchasing personnel on any supplier-related quality issues.
Support onboarding of new suppliers through tools such as quality surveys or onsite supplier auditing.
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the inspection or processing of goods and confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Notify supervisors and other personnel of quality issues within their area and assist with correcting these problems in order to meet quality standards and on-time delivery goals.
Lead the department in achieving a functional Lean Manufacturing workplace.
Confer with personnel such as management, engineering, quality control and customers to coordinate work activities, resolve employee grievances and identify, review and requisition resources needed to achieve quality and company directives.
Assist in completing required employee evaluations for subordinates in a timely manner in order to communicate successes, job-skill deficiencies and expectations necessary for employment and advancement within the company.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCompetency Statement(s) Working knowledge of quality methodologies Working knowledge of the Quality Management System process, auditing, risk assessment and deploying through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach High level of computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Windows format in order to adapt to other programs used for this position Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Excel or Minitab Strong data analysis skills Ability to create, utilize and understand trend/run charts, Pareto analysis, process capability studies (CPK), cause/effect diagrams (fishbone), histograms and check charts, flowcharting, GAGE R&R/Attribute Agreement, DPM & DPMO, c=0 acceptance sampling and yield calculations Understanding customer communication and dynamics having a strong sense of urgency to meet and satisfy their needs Strong leadership skills Must have good interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Associate degree (two year college or technical school) or high school diploma/GED with two to four years of related experience approved by management.
